2 problems I see, but not impossible to solve. Pull wet cloths out of washer, going up into the dryer you will be lifting at a awkward angle. Might need to put in basket, put washer away, then to dryer. Might look for front load washer.
Next, where are the dryer controls? If they are on the front, good. Top, not so much.
