Correct me if I am wrong but if the axles are 4400 that is 8800 lbs. Less than than CCC of the trailer. However, the WDH will transfer weight off the TT axles resulting in well under 8800lbs on the TT axles. So IMO it would not be worth putting in heavier axles.
Also, Outback is coming out with new colors after the Hershey RV show next week. The dealer we are buying ours from got a prototype in August of the new colors. Very sharp. Black front cap, tan sides. Better graphics. PM me and i will send you a link to the dealer photos. We love it in comparison to the white sides and brown cap.
When we saw a floor plan like this we scoured the internet for other options. All of them came in too long(typically over 37'). I did not want to tow a 37' TT so I ruled those out. Others just did not have the open feel the large super slide provides. When you walk in you feel you are in a great room at your house. Very 5th wheel feeling for us as well. Can't wait. Hope the walk through doesn't pose any issues.
Well, the sticker numbers add to 9000 lbs, so I imagine if properly loaded, the 9000 lbs total will only show 8800 lbs on a weight ticket....
I am excited about your pick-up tomorrow. I let the salesman know we are coming back on Saturday to look at that one again others, just to be sure it is right for us.
