Possible New Bunkhouse

Looking to replace our rather small TH with a nice BH. The family is needing more space, plus a 45 day cross country move in a 24 ft trailer with two adults, 2 kids, a dog and a cat did us in. So after lots of looking, we are really leaning towards the Outback 323BH. I have a couple questions though:

It has a measly 900lb cargo carrying capacity....that is not a lot at all, but I m assuming it is b/c of the tires, ST225/75R15D, would I be smart to go ahead and move up to a LR E or even to a 16inch tire right from the start?

This model comes with 50amp service and framed/wired for a second AC. This is VERY attractive to us, since we are from FL and would like to have the extra cooling capacity, however, while we are in CA, there is no need for it right now. Is the AC an easy install? I am assuming it is plug and play...can it be set up for zone cooling?

I also saw some heating elements by Dometic that can be installed in these units for heating, do you have to install a different thermostat for that kind of option? On my current trailer, if I set it to heat, it kicks the propane furnace on. Being in some cool areas, it would be nice to have a little heat to know the chill out without having to use propane.....yes, i understand if it gets down to freezing, the propane furnace would need to be ran for the belly/tank heating...

Any info would be great!

Thanks,
Cale

That's a deal killer for me. Simple options that you add to the camper are going to eat into that and then any dealer-installed things are going to eat into it more. Depending on how much water you carry in the fresh water tank, water heater and waste tanks- you'll likely be butting up against it rather quickly.

The issue is more likely the rating on the axles.

I'd walk if it were me.
