Possible RV Roof Idea

Excel has reduced the warranty from lifetime to five years due to poor support from Rhino on issues with the Rhino Eco-Roof.

FWIW, I had the Ford dealer spray my F-250 bed with Superliner. It is really a tough product, won't chip or fade. Lot's of work to install, though.

The fact that we had the lower quarter of our F250 Line-xed got me thinking about this . I look at the truck everyday and am impressed with the product. We even got a sparkle in the line-x . I get sooooo many compliments on the look of the truck . When I was up on the roof of the fiver treating the rubbers on the slides , the thought came to me about posting this topic . Obviously I am not the first , but man, what a upgrade for the RV world. It just makes sense to me. It sure takes a beating in the box of my truck . When I got me RAM 3500 I had the front outside corners of the rear fenders Rhinoed.
Thinking seriously of having the Rhino continued up, and over the tops of the fenders since the rock pits and dings seem to hammer this area.

I might try Durabak again.

I would gladly sacrifice a few extra pounds to get rid of a rubber roof.

At a previous job, I had a cow-orker who had his entire vehicle (a 4x4) stripped, parts removed, then all (including the undercarriage and fender wells) sprayed with Line-X instead of repainted. I'm sure it wasn't cheap, but he isn't worried about brush scratches when off-road or shopping cart dings when in the urban jungle anymore.
