post being removed

Sometimes they get poofed as a part of a whole line of posts within a thread that have gone way off track. Your post may not have been bad in and of itself, but got caught up in the entire track the thread had taken.

Why ask such a question on the open forum? Only the moderator or the administrator are going to know the answer. Over the years I have sent several PMs to both, and have always gotten an answer back, not always the answer I wanted to hear, but I have always received a response in a reasonable amount of time.

Asking a question such as the OP asked, is also making a statement at the same time.

all the person is trying to find out is the reason for the deletion.

Directly PM the mod to get the answer.

You must be living in a fantasy world. The mods know the rules and don't need to tell adults when they break them. I'm sure the OP could read the rules and figure out why it was removed all on his own. Did you read the rules? The first one says "We reserve the right to remove any post at any time for any reason". No mention of notifying posters anywhere in that link.

I've had a few removed, mostly in the workkamping forum. Had thread one I started that turned into a p***ing contest that I asked the Mod to remove and they refused. Their show, their rules...I don't get too bent out of shape over it.

GoodSam or Campingworld didnt like it. Thats what you get with a Co. sponsored forum.

I've lost track of the number of posts I've had poofed. Even been warned a time or two. I just get over it and move on. Sometimes I get a bit miffed if I think it's unjustified or if someone else posts something similar and it stays but I get over that too. Now, if this heat and humidity doesn't end soon I'm gonna get downright CRANKY then y'all will have to LOOK OUT! :B
