The topic that I posted, I did not read on RV.net. I hadn't been on it for days due to being in hospital. There was no political agenda other thaan reporting a citizen being abused.

License Plate readers are becoming more pervasive and a Patrol car, with one can scan many plates. All your info apparently is now on display. A hysterical wife, afraid of the cops didn't help anything. The cop had no justification other than the Citizen having a CCW. An arrest for a firearm or even ammunition, in Maryland, would satisfy part of his mandated interaction with People or Motorists quota and extra points.
Politics, I don't know if you can segerate such a discussion entirely from that aspect.
The only way I know how and what the intention was for a caution of RVers and others traveling through such hostile territories.
No politics as such intended.
You got one side of the story, don't take it as gospel.
