This is going to be a dumb question so bare with me.I got our FW out of storage last night, got it home, plugged it in. Switched the battery on, and turned on the inverter. All systems go.Except the Fridge (an LG). it was there with no power.I went out, flipped the battery off, camper still had power other than the fridge. Turned battery back on, cycled the inverter on/off although it was running. still no power to the Fridge.I then went to the panel, all breakers were solid. i unplugged 2 fuses, 1 said kitchen, which killed the lights, and the other i want to say said misc. which didn't kill anything immediately obvious.So, i don't remember if i went directly back and checked the fridge or if something else distracted me first, however when i checked it, it was finally powered up.My question is, after sitting all winter did something happen? does it take some time to register the power? did the dealer trip something when they winterized it? or was it merely just me messing with the fuse?The fuses weren't blown and were not replaced.

Hard to guess what the issue may have been since it is now working.

I feel silly sitting here naked while reading the forum. :)

Was the fridge light not working when the fridge wasn't working, or only the compressor not running? If you had light, evidently it was getting power.Depending on the design of the fridge, it may be possible that the compressor wouldn't start up immediately if it happened to be stopped in the middle of a defrost cycle. Sometimes this is controlled with a little electromechanical timer mechanism, or at least it used to be done that way often.

let me go check that inverter, they have it installed in such a way the screen is facing down with little clearance.

ok, here are the pics of the inverter, 3 shots that cover the entire face area of the display, the last pic is the fridge model number.

i can't be certain the receptacle the fridge is plugged into is getting power, as it's impossible to get to without removing the unit, but it's curious the camper works fine in general, and the fridge was fine on our last outing.

It should have 4 LED lights on the front of it. What lights, if any, are on?

Bumping up this thread. After not using the camper since late April, i am experiencing the exact same problem, only after having it work flawless our first outting.

I was certain i had a battery issue so i replaced it this morning, and unless its desd, the issue persists.

Inverter is a WFCO wf-5110h.

Completely at a loss.

Just a guess!

You need to know if your inverter has a "pass thru" function, which means that when you plug into shore power, the shore power passes thru the inverter and powers everything with shore power that the inverter does.

If it doesn't have a "pass thru" function, I think "buc1980" may have identified the issue. The batteries were too low for the inverter to power up. While you were looking for the issue, they had enough time to charge and turn the inverter on.

I just think if the battery was low maybe it take some time for the inverter to turn on.

Have you checked the outlet with a tester and it has no power?
Then you just trace the open circuit. At some point you will find 120v on one side of something and zero on the other side. Fix, repair, adjust, clean, tighten, replace, reset that item.

Our Danby has this note in the manual. Maybe the same thing for yours.

NOTE:
IF THE UNIT IS UNPLUGGED, HAS LOST
POWER, OR IS TURNED OFF, YOU MUST WAIT
3 TO 5 MINUTES BEFORE RESTARTING THE
UNIT. IF YOU ATTEMPT TO RESTART BEFORE
THIS TIME DELAY, THE REFRIGERATOR-
FREEZER WILL NOT START.

Our journey with this camper has been kind of a funny one.

We purchased it at the end of last season, or, early August i should say. 2 days later we hit the road on a 2 week vacation which was around 1500 miles. of course we encountered about 30 warranty issues on the trip.

Once home, we used it 1 or 2 other weekends, then took it in for warranty work. Since fall/winter was upon us, i told the dealer to winterize it.

We got the camper back about Feb. i gave it a quick once over then took it to storage. If you saw my post in the FW forum, in storage someone hit it, and damaged it.

Last night i finally had it home, and was prepping it for use tonight - the weekend.

I only encountered the fridge issue yesterday.

All that said, i'm not yet well versed on all the intricacies of the camper yet, i wish i could answer your questions and get a ral answer, but i'll have to look it over and see what i actually have.
