Where do ya'all get your prescriptions? DW was just issued a new prescription before she retired. Now that she has her own insurance and has to buy prescriptions is pretty outrageous. NO ITS PLAIN HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!! For what she paid $5.00 a month for is now going to cost $400.00. Do y'all have somewhere that you buy online or otherwise that I could check into for a better price.

Welcome to the individual insurance market. We have used Walmart(me) and Publix(DW). We have both converted as much as we can to generics, especially those that are on the $10 for 90 days versions. Publix has some drugs that DW gets for free for her diabetes. But like you we both have a couple of "gotcha" drugs. One she takes exceeds $600 per month. Our insurance (via Obamacare) does get us discounts on everything generic. The specialty ones are subject to a deductible. Last year we met our deductibles and that $600 one went way down. Then we met our policy out of pocket max (both of us) and all of our drugs were free for the last three to four months of the year.

They will certainly honor your written Rx and their prices, as is usually the case for drugs purchased outside the U.S., are very low. Thousands of Americans and visiting Canadians take advantage of this when wintering in Arizona.....

My understanding of US law; with a valid prescription you are allowed to being back from Mexico a 3 months supply for personal use.

Depends on the drug and where you are getting price quote.WalMart has good prices and excepts most insurance plan.Many of the mail sources that have tried to get us to switch are much higher in price.Canada and Mexico are good sources but beware. In Canada we get some drugs over the counter which require prescriptions in the States. There contain codeine.

Yes, I purchase online without any insurance at far less than if I had coverage, when you consider the monthly premium & co-pays that go along with it.
