The plastic connector was cracked on one of my RV's. I replaced the plastic connector with a brass connector. Remove the screws holding the round flange to the side of the RV. Gently pull out the connector. On the back will be a hose. The hose should be long enough to pull the connector out to gain access to the back of the connector. Remove the hose and install a new connector. Hope this helps.
