I need some help. This past winter I winterized my trailer by blowing out the water lines with my air compressor and pouring a gallon of RV anti-freese into the traps. That worked fine except I blow out what I think was a pressure valve in the city water hookup, now I have to replace this value because I am unable to hook-up to city water. What I want to know is, is this a new feature and do I still need to use an outside pressure valve? My dad always blow out his water lines and I don't recall ever having this problem.
You Dad probably had a pressure regulator to drop that 150 PSI air compressor to below city water pressure. If you didn't you'll probably have more than one leak.
Replace what was there, that's all.
