I'm suddenly seeing RV antifreeze for sale in retail stores everywhere. Not good. Now I am suddenly depressed because it means the end of the camping season is nigh. :(
Forget the cheapo alcohol based stuff and get the good stuff that has propylene glycol in it. It won't evaporate, won't taint piping, isn't flammable, isn't toxic and lubricates seals. Costs a bit more but is worth it. I get ours at a local independent RV shop. If you blow your lines out, a jug of antifreeze will go a long way.
There are a number of brands of the PG type. Camco has both types. Sometimes the contents are in teeny weeny print and hard to read. Note that some may contain recycled PG and you want virgin PG.
