Yes, tow mirrors would help, as would a camera. I use a rear view camera with a monitor that clips onto the tow vehicle's rear view mirror. Now, when I look at the rear view mirror, I see what's behind the trailer, instead of the front end of it.
I have the trailer and truck wired individually. Part of hooking up is plugging in the camera and monitor. Bought my camera, monitor, and cables on ebay.
