I had a "Problem" while out traveling across the United States, where if I bought to much fuel with one credit card in one day or over two days, it would "Trip" a fraud alert, and I would have to call them (again) and re-set the credit card.
One solution is to use two credit cards. Use one in the morning, the other at the second filling. I would be buying $75 then $75 at the pump, or some places $100 then topping off with another $75 or so to get my motorhome full. At $4 per gallon, that is not to much fuel anymore.
Another solution is credit card then debit card. However I do not earn points while using the debit card, so I liked using the CC more, and pay it off at the end of the month.
