That seems to be the exception to the rule, the usual method is to use the 3 numbers of your postal code then add "00" to the end.
Using this method L5S 2H7 would then be entered as 52700.
It all depends on your financial institution's method that they would have submitted to the CC company, Vise, M/C, etc.
Entering the wrong code a couple time puts you at risk of having a fraud hold being placed on your account. A major PITA while you're in transit.
