Float gauge at LPG tank is mechanical, usually inaccurate. Resistance at mechanical gauge drives E -1/3 - -2/3 -F gauge at panel inside. Inside gauge is also dependent on voltage driving it. There is a trimmer on the inside panel to adust circuit to better match the reading of gauge in the tank, but if it is wrong at the tank, that's where it needs to be fixed.
