propane ?

For winter storage, do you fill your onboard propane tank, or just leave what's there till spring. Preference?
  • I like to keep our LP tank full for traveling purposes, but as said, there's no need for storage purposes. A partially filled LP tank is not subject to condensation build-up the way a gasoline or diesel tank can if not kept full.
  • I always top ours off after the last trip of the season before winterizing...then they are ready to go for the next season and I don't have to remember if they are filled or not...

(Honey, do we need propane, did we fill those tanks in the fall....:h)

We really don't do winter storage, but will top off tanks on return from any trip, so they are always full.
