Propane costs lately
So I just filled up my 30 pounder at U haul it was 3.99 gallon/ 6.7 gallons for 26.73 Does that seem High?

That sounds high to me, too. I usually pay between $17 to $21 to fill one of my tanks. Depends where I'm at. Anyway, if you need propane you gotta pay the price. ;). BTW, it's a good idea to ask fellow campers where they fill up their tanks. I usually do that if I'm in an unfamiliar area. Many RVers are fairly frugal and know where the lower prices are.
