Propane tank cover, ADCO or CAMCO?
The 5 year old el-cheapo OEM vinyl propane tank cover is ready for retirement. I would like one of the polyethylene hard plastic covers, but it looks like it wouldn't fit. I'm shopping from on-line ph...

You can fit a hard cover on it. You just need to slide back the propane tank base. Nearly all are secured with self-tapping sheet metal screws. If you do that, the Camco 40542 is the 30 gallon polar white model.
Thanks for the tip. I'll take another look at it tomorrow. I think it would have to move back about 2" to clear the electric tongue jack. Then it may be bumping up against the chain lifts. I suspect I wouldn't be able to determine if it would fit unless I have the cover in my hand.
