Propane..unlawful to have fridge on...is incorrect...

"If the power goes off for ten hours at home, do you throw out everything in your fridge and freezer?"

I live in an area where power outages are an expected way of life. And we've been without power for 10 hours before. And after 10 hours, yea, ice cream in the freezer begins to get soft. That's why I have a generator. The freezer is the first thing to get plugged in.
