We tow our Frontier (2WD) on a car hauler, and it works well for us. Tie downs on all 4 wheels, as I'm paranoid about it coming loose. We bought an aluminum 16 foot dual axle with brakes on both axles and with our Brakesmart (no longer made) controller, the rig tows/stops beautifully.
