Protecting front of Toad

We traded the 10 Edge for a 13. Except for the front fascia basically the same.
We have the Roadmaster shield that mounts on the horns. It has protected the old vehicle well. The windshield and the top of the car got blanketed with whatever was on the road. The windshield got a lot of blasting from grit.
Our mh is a rear radiator. Anyone have something on protecting the windshield?
Second what about the shields they have for protecting the hood of pickups and the edge. In normal driving of the Edge do they work well?
