Trailer says 50psi, tires say 65psi, tire store says 5 less than max which is 60psi. Who is right?

So, yes, based on that the tire WILL run cooler.
However, there is a trade-off involved here. In getting lower tire temperatures, you are also getting less traction, which translates to poorer braking performance and less grip on curves.
IMO, that traction is vital to the safety of me, my family, and everybody on the road! I want every bit I can get!
