Can anyone tell me if a 1989 f-150 5 speed (over drive) manual shift can be pulled 4 down? I have a sweet running 1989 and would like to take it with me on some trips.

Just because it is a manual transmission doesn't mean that it can be towed. Read your owner's manual and look for something called "recreational towing" or something like that
