We camped in West Union SC several years ago when a tornado touched down about a mile from the campground during late evening....never brought slides in...winds, per NWS hit 50+mph at the campground, no damage... Same thing in WV ( called a "derecho" in 2012),where power got knocked out for about a week in and around Pence Springs. Trees down everywhere, winds hit 60 mph and higher...slides left out, no issues...
We don't use jacks under the slides, and they were electric, just as added info..
