Someone pulled up side of me last weekend and flagged me down. It seems that I put the antenna up without my sticky note on the speedometer. I think we'd driven about 50 miles before he stopped me. I was truly surprised it was still there.
I spotted a guy who was at a dump station in a heavily wooded State Park. He had a tall class A and had managed to leave his site and travel to the dump with his antenna up, and somehow didn't tear it off. I told his female partner that it was up. She looks up, and gives me a bubble headed blond response of, "Oh, it's fine like that". The male of the pair hears this exchange, rounds the corner, looks at her, and with a bit of weary attitude in his voice says,"stop talking". He then looks at me and says, "thanks, I appreciate that". I tried hard to not laugh as I said no problem, and walked away.
