Can you add on to the front of the trailer ? Buddy had borrowed a open trailer with about the same height on the front of the trailer. He just took a sheet of plywood laid it up against the front took a couple of vicegrips clamped them tight then zip tied around the vicegrips handles . Went from Southern Ca to Sturgis and back no problems. Coarse thats Jerry rigging it, but if you have access to a enclosed trailer by all means take advantage of it...
Saying all that next year we will be headed to Sturgis with an open trailer (old u-haul trailer) I'll probably put something up in front of the bike to help with any debree but will still be obviously open to rain etc. Would be nice to have an enclosed trailer tho...
