The Equal-i-zer is not an entry level hitch... not even close to being one. I just bought one to go with my new trailer and absolutely love It. So easy to use. I had a trunnion style chain WDH and a round bar WDH before and they did okay but I like the EQ better. Granted, costs about twice as much. I don't have any experience with a pull rite so can't help you there.
From all the posts I see about weight distributing hitches on the Forum, Equal-i-zer seems to rank in the top five.
The Pullrite, like imtandem states, is totally different. It's main mechanism is moving the hitch pivot forward, toward the rear axle. It should provide some weight distribution in that it is carrying the tongue weight more toward the front of the TV.
I should probably give Pullrite a call and see what they say about combining the two hitches. I don't even know if that's possible.
