It is the Desert
It's not that it's the desert - it's been a while but I've done desert camping and like it. Interesting hiking and backpacking experiences to be had in the desert. It's the closeness of the neighbors and site size in the photo that don't appeal to me. I'd probably like the more remote boondocking places, in particular when the shows aren't happening and there are few people around.
