Question about 6k Generator

You will not need such a large generator unless you really have some power intensive loads, such as electric stove, or have a habit of lighting up a large area.
Even 3 air conditioners are OK with 6 KW. Each will consume about 1400 watts max on a really hot day, and around 3000 watts for 2 seconds while starting. Because it is a diesel engine, it will not slow much while starting the second or third A/C unit, even if the microwave is running.
Will the RV have a inverter?
Will that inverter power just the microwave, TV and what living room receptacles? Is there circuit breakers on the inverter? Many have a pair of 20 amp circuit breakers mounted to the inverter, to run the microwave on one, and living room receptacles on the other. Usually you can run just the TV and a couple of other receptacles.
With the inverter, it is drawing power from the batteries, then making 120 VAC out of the 12 VDC. You will be limited in power, and don't want to run any larger loads, other than perhaps the microwave. You should be able to plug in a laptop, and watch a movie that way, it saves a lot more power than running the larger front TV.
