Issue with Ben's last comment.....IF you are at.max GVW, you literally have NO tow capacity. A lot of people like to quote, a pound added to the TV takes away a Pound of trailer. That'd false do a degree. It's more like add a lb to TV, take away 10 lbs of trailer weight. As the TV carries 10% of trailer weight as hitch at.
It's better to weigh TV as it will be loaded, take difference IE remaining payload available, divide by decimal % hw you want or need, that will give you max trailer you can tow. As long as per say, trailer plus tv weights do not go over gcwr.
