On our Class C motorhome, the 12 volt system master shut-off switch is right on the sink cabinet wall on the left of coach entrance door as you enter the coach. This switch is down low on the wall so it's easy to reach when standing on the ground with the entrance door open.
The refrigerator's outside access panel has the pilot light and burner just inside it. This panel is only a few feet from the motorhome's fuel fill gas cap. When refueling I just open the coach entrance door, reach in, and turn the 12 volt system master switch OFF. With no 12 volts available to the coach interior, the refrigerator can't ignite while refueling.
This is very simple to do in our case, so I do it just to be always on the safe side.
Is the 12 volt system master shut-off switch in some RVs not conveniently reachable from the ground by reaching just inside their main entrance door for an easy shut-off when refueling?
