I've seen videos of fires at the pump, links posted at this forum, to new reports. I'm not going to search for them again, you can do that yourself, depending on what you want to believe.
At least one instance, fridge on propane hosed by someone filling at another pump.
Another instance, the RV owner hosed his own RV, was here to complain about it being the oil company's fault because the pump started spraying before he turned it on and squeezed the handle.
How often does gasoline get spilled? I'm seeing remnants of spilled gas or diesel around the pumps at about 2-5% of my visits to self-serve pumps.
