That's why the RVIA regulates the fuel inlet to be on the opposite side of the rv from the flame appliances.
That's not true foe LP fillers. So always extinguish flames and evacuate the rv when filling LP. I have seen a class B burn up the side because the WH was on and it had three elderly almost invalid people inside. Luckily we got them out and the fire put out.
