Question? Fueling with Refrigerator or Furnace Running

Just read through some other recent posts, and got me to wondering? Members of RV.net are really divided on keeping the refrigerator running on gas with fueling up. Same goes for the gas furnace. O...

To me it's just common sense, my fridge and my furnace both have open flames that are exposed to the outside air. Seems intuitively silly to have open flames going while I am fueling up. Do what you want, I don't need stats to tell me it's not a good idea.
