question on cancelling a site on reserve america

I have a site reserved for 2 weeks at a very popular campground. I'm going to cancel one of the weeks and I have a friend who wants to pick up that week once I cancel it. How do I do this to ensure ...

I don't know if you can take another person's reservation. What if you have to produce id to match the reservation name?
You might be able to call the reservation number and get them to change the name on the reservation.
