OK. Need some advise here. Wondering if I can run the heat on my fifth wheel toy hauler while towing it down the road. My concerns are will the wind from driving cause problems with the furnace lighting and will it create a ventilation problem with the furnace exhaust causing CO2 inside the camper. I only ask about the CO2 problem due to the fact that the dog is in the camper when we haul it.
And one more question regarding the propane tank hook up. I notice that the regulator that both tanks hook up to had a dial with three settings, Center, left, and right. If I have it in the center will it draw off of both tanks at the same time? This was never explained to me when I bought the camper.
Thanks for your help.
You might try riding in the fiver for a few miles yourself so you can see what you will be putting the dog through.
Another benefit is you don't need to worry about heating the fiver if it's empty (unless it's REALLY cold and you need to protect the water system).
As to your propane switch question, it depends on the Manufacturer. It may in fact be "Off" in that center position.
Some regulators automatically switch to the other tank once the selected one is empty and a red indicator will drop to show you that happened.
