Well Im pulling with a crew cab f350 dually. The dog used to ride with us in the truck but a 75lb lab continually whining on a 4 hr ride does not work for me. So unfortunatlly for her she now rides in a kennel in the camper without any problems. I was questioning the heat because we are leaving in the evening and not getting to our campground until around 11PM and wanted the camper a little warmer when we arrived.
We use to haul the dogs in the 5er, until once my DW and friend decided to see what it was like.
I triple checked the connections, cell phones with active connection, and a very short drive home about 20 miles.
DW said the dogs would never ride in the 5er again!! She said all the noises, and movement were really bad.
Our dog use to whine a lot in the back seat, we have a few treats and their favorite bed, seems to work most of the time.
