Questions about "Closed" topics

I have nothing to complain about. I get great responses from questions I ask on this forum, and in turn, try to help others. and yes, sometimes I have questions about moderation - like a recent poster who was advertising their campground in both their user name and profile with a link to their CG's website - clearly against a posted rule. Yet nothing was done. Doesn't really ruffle my feathers - who knows why - must be a reason, but this thread made me remember it.

Now, the other thing about this forum is that it is free and moderated by multiple people with different personalities. The more the merrier IMHO. You could get something like the Grand Design owners forum. I recently joined and received an email stating the rules and was told of the sole owner/moderator of the site. So over there, I get a grace period where I can access the full site, and after the period, I have to pay 12 dollars a year to do something like post a picture. Not worth it to me, when I can post pictures to my hearts content over here. And if I make the sole moderator upset over something that rubs him the wrong way, well, I'm toast right now.
