We now have a new residential refrigerator... When in transit, do we need to do anything to protect the glass shelves as we bounce down the road? Do you still use a refrigerator fan to circulate the ...

Did you ever find it necessary to use a refrigerator fan in a residential refrigerator in any house you have ever lived in??
Probably not. You won't need one in the RV either.
