I have the same basic setup with a sway control bar and I went from Chicago to Ashville North Carolina having a ton of semis passing and me passing and never felt any sway. I had the dealer set up the hitch and never touched it, if it any broke don't fix it. :) Since N C trip I went to upper Wisconsin and back through thunder storms with no real issues.
