1. I bet the root cause of the sway is a light tongue weight for the overall trailer weight. That is why you feel sway at higher speeds.
2. Another issue is that is a big trailer that catches lots of wind (thus the push/pull effect you feel with tractor trailers) with not that musch of overall weight.
3. The Equalizer hitch controls sway with friction. When you greased the hitch, you reduced friction thus increased sway.
4. Eliminate sway altogether and tow safely and comfortably. Buy a Hensley Arrow! www.nosway.com
