Over payload = overloaded. Many factors go into payload numbers, not just axle ratings. Overloading does sell a lot of hitches and add-ons while keeping people on here busy giving advice. I am not with the weight police and have probably wobbled down the road with more overloaded half tons than anyone on here. Not any more.
