Just wanted to follow up...there is no way my hitch is 1700 lbs to max my rear axle. With the wdh disconnected I still have about two inches before I hit bump stops, truck sits very similar to what it did when I had 1000 lbs of 12' sheetrock in back. I am weighing my rig on the way home tmrw and will no for certain if I'm over gvwr but I know that will be close.
So I mentioned how I greased everything, which I did heavily. I took all the grease off then used a regressed and cleaned everything up. I sprayed a little white lithium grease instead of the heavy duty marine ball bearing grease I was using. This worked miracles, no sway when driving at 60 on the highway and I went further this time than last time approx 200 miles one way.
I did torque socket bolts to 65ft-lbs they were approx 50. I am very happy with they way everything performed
