quick question..30,000 miles servicing
Do most people do the changing of the transmission fluid at 30K miles? I have an f-53 ford chassis. Just wondered.

Check the owners manual. My transmission fluid change interval is every 25k miles or every 24 months, whichever comes first, when using TES 389 ATF. With TES 295 ATF the service interval is every 75k miles or 48 months, whichever comes first.
The GM dealers only stock TES 389 fluid and want $200 in labor for a 45 minute job so I found a Castrol Transynd TES 295 dealer and had them change the transmission fluid and filter.
