quick question..30,000 miles servicing
Do most people do the changing of the transmission fluid at 30K miles? I have an f-53 ford chassis. Just wondered.

I'm gonna tell you just like I told my friend. Change all the fluid to any synthetic trans fluid. He didn't and blew up his trans climbing a grade in Colorado.
The tow cost him $1500 and it cost him $2400 for a rebuilt ford trans.
He told me that the mechanic told him the cause was the fluid was burned up causing a lack of lubrication and took out the bearing and seals.
I just shook my head and walked away from him...
