4R100, I do, 30,000 interval. Ford dealer does it as a flush, not a change, for a little over $200, so it adds 7/10 of a cent per mile to operating costs.
Operating most of the time in hot weather, I find the fluid is pretty well aged at 30,000 miles. Because the vehicle is always close to GVWR, and often operated close to GCWR, maintenance belongs on the severe duty schedule.
The interval may have been changed for the 5R110, with the change in transmission fluid. But not likely much more than 50K or 60K miles.
