What kind of hours do you like? I would like to see graduated hours. 10:00 PM all electronic entertainment and/or musical instruments off. 10:00 to 1:00, quiet conversation ok. 1:00 to 6:00...

Good question. I cooked some soup at home before leaving on our trip and had it in the freezer. The stuff was as solid as a rock, so nuking it would definitely have us eating sooner.
Unless we need the a/c, I can easily get by without the gen. But, every now and then, it proves useful in cranking out a meal.
