Get over yourselves. Life is not all about you.
That reeks of "it's all about me and if you don't like it, tough snoogies" henceforth my comment. Just like freedom of speech doesn't allow one to yell "fire" in a crowded theatre, an activity in a campground that YOU deem acceptable might not be acceptable to another. Your right to enjoyment does not supersede MY right to enjoyment-the problems arise regarding where to draw the line. That line, while it may be clear to one, is not clear to another. In order to keep some semblance of a civilized society it needs rules. Same applies to campgrounds in order keep a communal living situation viable. The reason why I had a hard-sided unit is because I am a very light sleeper. If the campground is noisy, it is ME who acquiesces to the others as I close up my unit and make sure there is white noise inside even if it's someone violating quiet hours. THEY are in the wrong, but I am being the TOLERANT one. No need to look up the definition-I practice it on a regular basis.
Hold on there boy-o. I'm not into handing out "respect" just because someone come along and demands it. Where I come from, you earn respect by your actions and deeds.
Ahem. It's GIRL-O to you, cowboy! :B And I choose to show courtesy and respect until someone proves they DON'T deserve it. Makes life MUCH less adversarial.
What were you doing to that poor parrot????
Best laugh I've had today!
