SNAKE LEGGINGS
Good advise given here, but if you still feel that you need an extra layer of protection, wear some good leather shoes/boots and these.
I personally have some snake boots on whenever I'm out at my property, always looking ahead when I'm walking and scanning my surrounding and move really slow when I'm in unfamiliar territory.
Just be aware of the residing spots during the different times of the day, shade during the daytime and concrete, asphalt, rocks, etc that will retain heat during the early/late and overnight hours
