snakes are fun creatures for sure... We used to maintain in Texas a 200 acre field full of high power antenna farms and radio buildings scattered everywhere.. Alot of things on the outside of the buildings were held up with large UNISTRUT metal construction and snakes would get inside the unistrut angles and go to the roof of the buildings... They would be up there sunning...
When we first encountered them we had no idea how they got up there. Not just one or two but a whole bunch of them... Finally caught one going up the elevator shaft haha... They could get great traction on both insides going up and down. Didn't seem to even slow them down any...
We had a bone yard of old large coils and broken section of RG Coax thrown away. Every now and then we would gather the stuff up to haul off to a dump somewhere. We would stab the pile with a front end loader tractor and raise it up to load on a flatbed and rattlesakes would be flying off in all directions. The guy on the tractor didn't know what he wanted to do haha...
This was a 24/7 operations and the nights would be cold. When you opened the door to go outside to check something you had to step over rattlesnakes that were laying on the concrete steps trying to keep warm I guess...
It a wonder we all survived this place over the years...
